Another reread for my Brit novels course. Loved it the first read a few years ago. curious how it’ll be this time with a teaching frame of mind.

Lol trying for like the 5th time because I want to read the whole new translation. I’m almost as far as I’ve ever gotten in it.

The reading to see what I want to teach in 21st c British novels has begun. If you’ve read both, do you think this or Never Let Me Go would teach better?

I should be working on my fall classes buuuttttt

This will be the longest book I’ve ever read. 1500 giant pages (much larger than regular penguin classics dimensions).

Starting here before I start the Ulysses adventure (reading it for the first time along with my aunt’s notes)
