still reading this btw. the part about the crimes is a tough read but i’m fully committed. have a bit of a history with DNFing chunky, sprawling epics when the going got rough but NOT THIS TIME!!

this one is looking like a DNF, i simply can’t keep up with it. might look into pynchon’s masterpieces down the road but this one is just too esoteric with all its turn-of-the-millennium jargon and references.

changing my reading goal for the year… I KNOW I KNOW i promise 48 was my original goal at the start of the year
