I remember the talk about the infection spreading at different times. :) I had to listen to it so many times to understand it with the extras in the previous audiobook. :)

The narrator is doing a much better job beyond the narrator on the older tape version. With retrospect and the sound effects plus voices make the supporting characters easier to understand. I am looking forward to re-living Corran Horn's escape from the Lusankya while the Krytos virus plagues the Republic.

Fisman and co-authors engaged in fraudlent activity at three levels:

1. Scientific fraud: Fabrication and falsification of data AND results...

... 2. Health-related fraud:...faux similation...fabrications influence individuals' trust in the drug which results in greater uptake, some of whom go on to suffer an adverse event.

3. *Hate Science*: Advocating harm against an identifiable group...rights and freedoms."

Willfull Backing

"...The refusal of researchers and institutions to self-correct in the face of such irrefutable evidence indicates a deep-set problem that requires a system-wide review in order to determine the root cause and make the necessary changes to restore integrity."

Dr. Watteel leaves out a key word "enabling". However, this fits into her blindspot of verification.

Because she is not a healthcare worker, she does not understand the vaccine faith. Now what I said is misleading but also true. It wouldn't be a faith if the healthcare workers knew it was a faith. So, the revised statement, should actually be a question. 'Why don't the healthcare workers know about the vaccine faith?'

I read the 'opinion' piece published in The Sun on the 26th Aug 2022. I juxtiposed it with the mandate. *sigh*

The JCB appears okay with the trackrecord and previous complaints, enabling these two "ethical" scientists to be rewarded for years to come.

"Fisman's alliances weren't the only potential conflicts of interests in the CMAJ publication. The Canadian Medical Association and several top editors within CMAJ had also called for C-19 vaccinations to be made mandatory for health care workers prior to the study."

It is important to note that the Jounalist Brian Lilley wrote an "opinion" piece that Aaron McCrories emails indicate that there was no evidence for the mandate. "Nonetheless Trudeau doubled down on the harsh measures and ramped up divisive rhetoric against those who refused to take the C-19 vaccines."

Turns out Fisman was also invited to participate in roundtable discussions on C-19 with Seqirus an Ingluenza vaccine company.

Aug 2021 Fisman resigned from The Science Table amid scientific rigour controversy.

Another group of possible conflicts came up after the Toronto Sun reported the first conflict Jan 2021 for Fisman; "Honorariums and advisory roles with Pfizer, Astra Zeneca, ONA, Klick Health, JP Morgan Chase, Farallon Capital, Canada Pension Plan and the imfamous WE Charity."

Paid by ETFO while paid consultant to give expert testimony in a dispute between 4 major Ontario unions and the Ontario Labour Relations board while The Science Table informed the Ontario government's response to the pandemic.

Simply, he informed the problem and its response.

The Ontario C-19 Science Advisory Table = influential scientists and medical professionals.

Paradox of prevention.

Fisman said the following about Schabas: "...he's well out of the mainstream at this point.... There was one MP who seemed to treat him (Schabas) seriously. But he didn't get a lot of questions, and he spent most of the hearing looking like someone standing next to the wall at the prom waiting to get asked to dance..." If Fisman was correct his non-myopic view will show good results.

Turns out there were more then clinical physicians that were 'bypassed' by mandates. I wonder if the law would see this as just being carried away? Just a university, reglatory agencies and institutions that are... what?

Adamantine - unable to be broken. We will see. It is very frusterating seeing the barriers.

A good question. What if the barriers to entry can only be seen through consent of ideas? How long until those ideas become a monopoly. Are they sterilizing ideas or nonsterilizing?

On the note of acknowledgement, it seems a similar aspect to the reply of the end of chapter 9 where Hoff is told 'not to mix religion and politics.' Eric goes onto juxiposition this with a freedom of faith as articulated earlier in relation to his belief of gods word. Perhaps, his idea of freedom though faith was similar to something needed today?

This really seems to stabilize many thoughts around the spectrum of totalitarianism to decorum. That lingering question of one dimensional thought, is that the only reply to totalitarianism? It makes me think of that saying there is a fine line between stupidity and intellegence. Anyways, this book or questions are far from over. Atleast, I can see my hand in front of my face.

His progress towards understanding the spiral he brought up seems to only go as far as;'it happened'.I wonder if acknowledging this concept would be similar to a postmodernist acknowledging Hegels dialectic.This lack of acknowledgement seems to play a huge role in groups of people no matter if Bonhoeffer time or our context.hm

Interestingly,this book was free on audible.Would a full postmodernist think of Thank-You?
