I wish Blake Crouch was a little bit less of “that guy who knows what he’s talking about and can’t wait to tell you at length,” but the man knows how to write a page-turner. Like Dark Matter, Upgrade is (so far) a fun, pulpy moment-to-moment plot with a bigger story and world hiding juuuust behind the next 200 pages
