I kept waiting for the title to weave its way into the story. It didn't. I kept waiting for conflict to require the main character to change. It never really happened. The story seemed to happen around the main character and while he was there, he never really seemed involved in the story. This was not one of my favorite books.

This was a timely read. With the riots and looting going on around the country and #BlackLivesMatter, I am glad I read this book when I did. This is a wonderful representation of two different worlds, what happens when they collide, and how we are to treat one another. I enjoyed this book and recommend it to others.
