Oh, I am already loving this. The writing is excellent.

If this doesn't get more interesting pretty soon, it may need to be returned. The constant mention of how hot and horny everyone is is getting really stupid when nothing else is happening.

Ugh. This turned boring. I was enjoying it up until the stupid "miscommunication/no communication" was put into play. It stopped being amusing and now I just have to read the same scene from three different perspectives all of them doing the "Oh, I wish they wanted what I wanted." I'll keep pushing for a little more, but I fear this is going into the DNF pile.

Dude's been on the magical FBI team for years. Has no clue who the big wigs of magical councils are. Needs everything explained to him. In fact, everyone needs everything explained to them. This world appears to be peopled by idiots.

19% of the way in and there is a whole lot of telling. If so much cool stuff happened before, maybe the opening of the book should have been pushed back a few weeks so we could have watched it happen.

Had to pause after chapter 2. Beautiful, but too real, too heartbreaking. My skin is a little too thin right now to be able to handle it. I'll pick it up again, soon.

I really thought I'd tear through this, but I'm just not digging it. :(

Dnf'd. It got way too boring.

I feel as if the setting should have been an airport rather than an exciting tactical team with the amount of time we've spent on all the baggage. I'm starting to get pretty bored. :-(

If the ooey gooey doesn't stop soon, I'm going to be wishing for some wolf hunters to put everyone out of my misery. The interactions with the kids is trying way, way too hard to be cute. Ugh. This is teetering on being a dnf...

I'm seriously unimpressed. First there is way too much telling going on in the mundane department. Instead of saying a character is cooking, the author gives every detail like turning on the flame, walking to the fridge, walking back, etc. Was the word count short or something? And the protagonist is self-centered and cold. He's not worth following through a novel. Things better turn around quick...

You know what would be awesome, but probably not very PC? An author list that you can populate with authors you never want to read again. So many times I'll come across a book I want to read with a familiar author name, but I can't remember if it's familiar for good or bad reasons. Then I have to go look them up and check my review of their book to see if it's safe to buy the new book or not.

This book is almost good, but I keep getting bored. I'm more drawn to homework than this story, and that ain't how it's supposed to work!

I skimmed to chapter 20 and still couldn't make myself interested. It's a lot like having two people on the phone with you, telling you their part of the relationship with the other. I'm bailing.

I'm on chapter 6 and I'm bored. The switching first-person POV is grating. Moswen is un-endearingly immature, Kijiki is boring. There seems to be no point to the story, and it's all just a ton of telling. I hope it gets better soon.

It was going good, and suddenly we took the offramp to Sappyville. :(

I didn't realize that this was seventh in a series. I'm already hooked, so I'll just have to deal, I suppose.

On page 11 and already sorta bored with the over-telling. Hope it picks up soon.

I'm a bit taken aback at how stupid the MC is. I would call it naivety, but it passed that up a bit ago and is just seems to be blind stupidity.

I have read an Amanda Quick in so long. I missed her dry and witty dialogue.

Slow going. I'm actually a bit bored. I really hope it picks up soon.
