There is sth about this author's writing style that I just don't enjoy. However, with as little progress as I have made, I've already cried, laughed and gasped at the text. I am too afraid to continue because I know I am going to be devastated by the end.

WOW! I've never hated the MCs so fast. Why are they so obnoxious?

I don't want to be harsh, but way to start a book with a bunch of adults acting childish and immature. And you want me to believe that this is how ppl who secretly have the hots for each other act? The first chapter is already such a big turn off.

Omg I can't with this book, the writing, the jumps. Can somebody just tell me how it ends?!

I'm wrecking my brain to understand why the author chose to sprinkle normal words translated to Arabic in every sentence, rather than actually introduce unique objects and elements that are embedded in the diverse culture that encompasses the Arab world. I'll leave my opinion for later.
Plus, houses don't have minarets!
