This may be the year of science fiction for me

At this point I may even just skim some stuff so the story can move faster

I felt like I was reading a lot and not making as much progress as expected

then I noticed the book is almost 600 pages long

Struggling a bit with the writing in this one, not gonna lie

Decided to re-read this book because it seemed funny that my first book read completely in german would be an english book that takes place in Brazil. But it's being quite hard - dark romance is not really my thing anymore, and even tho I remember this book has the least amount of violence from the others that came before in the series, it is still more than I remembered

The synopsis was lowkey false advertisement

Honestly quite impressed with the world building and how it adds to the story

The gods have blessed me greatly on this day

Should I continue reading when at each page I think "this could have been an email"?

So much explanation, so little things happening

Getting a bit bored, ngl. It feels like nothing is really happening

I love absolutely EVERYTHING about this book

its really a chore to read a book without dialogue

out of nowhere this fanfic is making me so sad

It's so weird because I feel plot-wise as if the book was supposed to be close to the end but it's just now getting into the middle and I'm like ??????
