Who in their right mind, under house arrest, would welcome a woman who introduces herself as a journalist into their home and tell her things about the shady past of the victim for whom they are the only suspect, when, first, they don't know for sure that she is a journalist, and second, the news could immediately end up in a newspaper?? He even asked her to look in the victim's past! Really?
