The advice I would give the main character, is that he should go to adults sooner for help if this were to happen to him again. Tho is very smart, but being caught up in a murder mystery is dangerous. Near the end of the book, Theo confronts his parents and tells them everything. If Tho didn't do that, a killer would have been out in the world.

This books morals are similar to modern days. During this time & place, murder & illegal immigration are considered wrong. In this book a suspect of murder is put through trial. If proven guilty, he would be put in jail because murder is not accepted. Page 122 shows Theo talking to an illegal immigrant. He tells him the consequences. He would be put in jail & sent to his home because thats the rule & expectation.

In Theodore Boone: Kid Lawyer, it is like modern day. The expectations and rules are identical to todays. This book is based around a murder. In this book, the suspect is put through trial and is innocent until proven guilty. If he is proven as the killer, he would be put in jail for his crimes because killing is wrong and not accepted in this book.

The genre of this book is drama and mystery. The book is about a murder. Theo has evidence of who the killer is, but he can’t say. This book is exciting and has lots of drama. Every chapter leaves you with many questions and theories.

A symbolic archetype in this book is the battle between good and evil. This is a classic story line in many books. Tris, her parents, and Tobias are the good side and Jeanine and the rests of Erudite is on the evil side. Tris tries to save everyone in Abnegation from being killed by dauntless members, while Jeanine is the person who put dauntless members under a simulation causing them to kill others.

Divergent has connections to The Hunger Games. Divergent has lots of fighting and deaths and and so does Hunger Games. In both of these books, the leader/government is corrupt and messed up. They put everyone against each other. One book separates the people and one book makes them kill each other.

This book is about Beatrice’s (Tris) life after becoming a Dauntless member and finding out she is divergent. This book takes place in the future, were the government had split people up in 5 factions. The book is told in Tris’s point of view and shows her struggles as she tries to pick a faction and survive in it. Tris and Four find out some terrible things the government wants to do and fight to try and fix things.

In this book, it was plot driven. Mohammed’s home just became more and more dangerous as the days went by. He had to escape because of that.

The climax of this book is when Dex’s nana defeats Mary, the ghost and everyone is saved. This happened right after Dex’s nana reveals that she was the reason that Romy, (Izzys friend) was being taken over by Mary.

My book has the stories voyage, tragedy, and overcoming the monster. The main character Izzy, moves in the beginning of the book on a search to find and defeat Mary, (a dangerous ghost). It is also a tragedy because at the end Izzy’s friend’s Nana, dies to save another one of Izzys friends.

This book, School Spirits only has one type of fantasy, urban fantasy. It’s set in the real world but has supernatural characters like vampires and ghosts.

On chapter 16, Colin gets in a big fight with TOC to defend Lindsey. He found TOC cheating on her and tells her which causes TOC to charge at him. I think this was a very important part in the book because after that, Lindsay and Colin became much closer.

The main characters start in Chicago and take a road trip to Gunshot, Tennessee to see the grave of Archduke Franz Ferdinand and end up staying there for most of the book. They meet Lindsey, there tour guide and become close friends.

The conflict is character vs self. Colin is trying to cope with being dumped for the 18th time in his life. He is very depressed because she was the first girl he ever really had feelings for, and they had been together more than a year. His friend takes him on a road trip and throughout the trip he tries to get over his ex even though all he wants to do is call her.

In my book, Chiune is a static character. He is always helpful and kind. He never regrets the choice he made of risking his life to save thousands of people. He stays the same. No one is Dynamic in this story.

In 1941, Chiune helped jews escape Poland from Nazis, by giving visas. The setting is Kanunas. The book was written to recognize the hero’s actions.

This book shows what a brave family did for over 6,000 Jews. Chiune Sagihara risked his life and his family’s too, to give Jews visas during World War II. Jews needed visas to escape Poland to Japan. Even though Sagihara had to disobey his government to help them he did it which made him a hero. His wife wrote this book to inform others. The readers of this book may be interested in the holocaust.

In my book the antagonist is a mysterious corporation (lab) past the cities border. There goal is just a theory so far... but the main character is convinced they are responsible for the disappearance of people in the city. No one talked about this lab and no one questions it.

The author used a sense of urgency.

In my book, there was a moment of suspension when Eunsoo went missing. She was texting with Araceli and Eunsoo decided to come over even thought it was quite late. They never saw her again. When the main character, Araceli called Eunsoo’s mom to see what was taking so long, she was horrified to find out she wasn’t home. This was a very stressful scene because when they were on the phone no one knew where she was.

So far in my book I have not come across any unsympathetic characters. So far,the book has just talked about the main characters move to her new home and her new school. Also,about a mysterious box she found. Although,Not many characters have been introduced yet. A sympathetic character in my book, is the main characters best friend Park. When the main character,Araceli went to Park with a problem,Park helped helped.

My October book, Heartwood Box, is written in first person. I know this because the girl who is speaking says her feelings and shares her thoughts. The book also says I, We, and Me.

The conflict in Shanghai Love is character vs. self and character vs. society. It is a love story between a Jewish man and a a Chinese woman. Not only does society disagree completely with this couple. The Chinese woman also is not sure about it. She is married to a man who died and her culture says she is forever belongs to her husband’s family. So technically she is still married.

The protagonist in my book is Henri. He is is a kind, thoughtful, and caring person. He always wants to make others happy. He is also very smart. He is a doctor and knows three languages. He is also a very determined person and can be sensitive at times too. Henri has brown curly hair and is Jewish refugee.

I chose this book because about a month ago, my mom gave me a few books from her bookshelf that she read and liked. She told me that she want me to start reading more often. Then she told me a quick summary of Shanghai Love and it sounded really interesting.
