The advice I would give the main character, is that he should go to adults sooner for help if this were to happen to him again. Tho is very smart, but being caught up in a murder mystery is dangerous. Near the end of the book, Theo confronts his parents and tells them everything. If Tho didn't do that, a killer would have been out in the world.

This books morals are similar to modern days. During this time & place, murder & illegal immigration are considered wrong. In this book a suspect of murder is put through trial. If proven guilty, he would be put in jail because murder is not accepted. Page 122 shows Theo talking to an illegal immigrant. He tells him the consequences. He would be put in jail & sent to his home because thats the rule & expectation.

In Theodore Boone: Kid Lawyer, it is like modern day. The expectations and rules are identical to todays. This book is based around a murder. In this book, the suspect is put through trial and is innocent until proven guilty. If he is proven as the killer, he would be put in jail for his crimes because killing is wrong and not accepted in this book.
