🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 left me with a book hangover. So good I like to wait before starting my next read.

DNF Too weird for me.

Ok so far. I like that the author makes the bikers do things I believe bikers would do.
Aside from Willow however, there really hasn’t been any build of characters. We know what’s happened to Onyx in his life, but there’s no dive into his thoughts or feelings. (Just the basics.)
It’s also odd to me that Willow has lived there for years now, but no tension between the two has been written into the pages.

Chapter 6. So far it’s not grabbing my attention. Something happened in her past that is constantly alluded to. He knows somethings up, but he’s more interested in the fact that she’s not fawning all over him like most women do. Now, after walking out of a party, he follows her, hugs her, and tells her he’s got her. There has been no build of chemistry and they’re already having intimate moments.

DNF - I only got through a quarter of the story and had to let it go. It had the promise of a good plot, but after reading essentially a Groundhog Day story I wasn’t in the mood to give it any more of my time.

She deliberately walks into trouble as well. Signing an NDA is choosing to be a victim. There are different jobs out there. She was assaulted. She’s not the brightest crayon in the box, but the writer is making her look as if she’s smart.
It makes the future of this story predictable.

I’m on chapter 3 of the second book. I’m so fed up with this girl whining. It’s making it a bit difficult to get through.

DNF - I just couldn’t get into this one.

Still waiting for SOMETHING to happen

I’m almost halfway through this book and I’m wondering if anything else is going to happen. I’m not ready to lay it down but I’m hoping it picks up because it is long and drawn out right now. Not much is happening.

This was really good! A little hard to follow at times with all the characters and jumping around in time, especially with the audio version. Paying attention to the chapter heading is crucial.
Highly recommend!

I’ve just read 10-15 pages of boredom. Hope this picks up.

Hazel, Mabel and Bertha.... why do authors use these names for seniors? These names have pretty much been out of use a few generations ago.

So far bored to shit. This author is so over descriptive it’s taken a whole chapter (25 minutes) for the characters to leave the house and get to their destination. It all could have been said successfully in 5 minutes.

The story is going great but at 62% we’re just now beginning to get to Retro’s story. I’m thinking this book deserved a different title. At this point we know more about everyone else.

It’s pretty boring so far. If it doesn’t pick up soon, I’ll have to shelve it in the DNF shelf.
Also, both main characters are 1 dimensional up to this point. I had high hopes for the story. I hope it doesn’t let me down.

I see Mercy and Michael becoming good friends. Even though Mercy can’t stand him, he’s going to get to know him and find out how much they have in common; both having a parent murdered at the hands of the other.

Evan. The dude’s name is Evan. Not Justin.

The prologue of this book baffled me until now!
Like a light bulb went off... It wasn’t Nic who was speaking. It was this guy! Justin

Chapter 7
It’s the female narrator. It’s only when she’s talking. Too many pauses and she’s dragging out her sentences. This is a 12 hr read. I hope I can get past it. It’s really raking on my nerves.

I’m on chapter 3. I’ve just met Fiona.
I’m not sure if it’s the narrator possibly reading too slow, or the writing, but I’m already over the drag of this girls history. I get it already!

So far, so good except I find it hard to believe someone would move to another town over sibling rivalry.

Chapter 8
I’m just not a fan of the insta-love thing. How do you know someone is “so easy to love” when you just met her a couple of days ago?

Chapter 10
Happy to hear Flash is not a douche. I actually liked him. Another total alpha. Grrr
