I’m finding great comfort in the way Anne Rice depicts the afterlife. The way she writes about souls is very poetic and touching. Maybe I needed this book? Maybe…Lestat isn’t so bad and we share similar musings about faith and humanity?

She makes it abundantly clear how little people understand about basic, core civics. A lot of the change she would've effected had not been done yet because she was not the president - she was the vice president. The vice president does not get to have her own agenda; she must follow the president's.

We could've had a tax credit for first-time home buyers...

Kamala's voice just makes me feel so safe and protected. Man, I want to be on her team. I would fight for her. And I've said it before, but wow...I've never felt hope and actual physical manifestations of belief within my body as I felt during her campaign run. She put her all into it.

Idk if I still love Stephen King. I convinced myself as a child he was 1 of the greatest writers of all time. & I understand artists must tell of the times.
