A strange man approaches her in the forest and alienates her from her elderly grandfathers. He convinces her to keep meeting him in secret and then whisks her away to another country, tells her she must pretend to not know him in public, prevents her from having friends, and tells her that when he dies his riches will be all the company she needs? GIRL!! RUN!

Officially at Christmas break

This is basically a book in the Puckboys series. It is referencing a lost of characters from Foolish Puckboy.

I laughed at the point in Ch 10 where it is mentioned that Dr. Ogden would select college students to train to become his interpreters.

I really enjoyed the chapter by Tara Holcomb and Aracelia Agular. There were some interesting ideas about how to use interpeters when there are more than two assigned to a conference with mixed methods of information delivery

I really enjoyed the analysis of head movement in ASL

Basically- if you aren't a Coda, you aren't a good interpreter? This chapter contradicted itself. An interpreter should not insert their opinion but they need to check to ensure students are understanding their classes (not checking if the interpretation is clear) HUH?
