If for no other reason, every adult in the world needs to read this wonderful collection of short stories, the joy of reading the most beautiful and heartwarming The Balance.

If you’re familiar with the writing of the imaginative, talented author, E. E. Isherwood, you may have read apocalyptic thriller series, Neighborhood Watch. If so, you will certainly remember Uncle Frank. Frank is one of my all-time favorite characters and in Build a Better Apocalypse he is reinvented in an entirely different nightmare. I am enjoying this thriller immensely.

Did not finish due to vulgar language, otherwise it was very interesting. I got to 30%

I think this is a first for me, I just began chapter 2 and I’m already wishing this book was longer! It is indeed gripping.

I only got to page 12 and encountered the second use of God’s name in a vulgar manner. I hate that I can’t finish a book I purchased because the author can’t or won’t use a more creative way to voice anger or frustration.

Intense, horrific and terrifying consequences!

This anthology’s first story is worth the price of the entire collection! Which means, avid readers, the next 1339 pages are not only great, they’re FREE! It is also an investment in a most important cause, helping a person in desperate need. So, do yourself a huge favor and read this book.

I did not finish the book. Not my cup of tea.

I am listening to the Audible version so it will take awhile to finish but it in an absolutely incredible story. Huge and magnificent.

Totally enjoyed this twist on magic and the way it is created by mathematics. I love the creature Gala and love to hate Augusta's spoiled and unreasonable attitude. Can't wait to read book 2
