There is just something soooo good about the way Briar writes banter. These characters all have such unique stories and conversations. It's so refreshing. Lots of books are just plot, smut, some relationship talk, more smut, plot, smut, done.

Briar has a way of making you understand the charm of each character and why they find connections with each other. Not just the fact they are both attracted to one another.
