I’m reading this but why is it so depressing 🥲 not great for winter season

the book’s format is interesting and creative! but why does the author make a statement that she is afraid of white men, being a black woman, yet her husband is a white man?

It’s difficult to like a book that doesn’t teach you anything new. Predictable and uninspiring.

I would recommend every non-muslim and muslim to read this translation of the Quran. Not only does it have an accurate translation of the Quran but it corrects misconceptions / misinformation about Islam that society spreads so violently.

I am so so excited. This book seems so informative and finally accurate!

love love love! i have always thought art is bullshit but the way Olivia writes and pulls apart themes and hidden meanings of artists and their work is so intriguing.

This book is absolutely magic and I find myself being able to relate to EVERYTHING she says. In awe and misty-eyed. A treasure.
