The writing in this book is 3 stars but the way shane and ilya talk to each other is fucking hilarious 😂

Ilya is a bastard yearner meanwhile Shane is simultaneously deeply in denial and extremely lost in the source 😂

ok past the 50% mark it becomes extremely obvious that a) this book did not have an editor / wasn't proofread, and b) it feels like a 1st draft and the structure is everywhere. things that have come up multiple times before are suddenly being brought up as if it's the first time mentioning them. also if there weren't already enough tropes there sure are now :/

i think they should fuck so they can get all of this lust out of the way and maybe then they will have a small chance of developing a compelling romance. they fell in lust at first sight and all they can ever think about is how horny they are for each other. i beg just fuck and get it over with so i don't have to put up with this anymore
