I wish I liked this

All of this honestly feels very jarring and oddly paced so far… I almost think it would have been better off without the longtime rivals element, because there just simply wasn’t enough time to establish their rivalry in a way that feels believable

Not to nitpick but I feel like it makes NO sense for the protagonist to be this clueless about faeries when her sister was stolen as a kid and she planned all her life to go and get her back

I am unbelievably excited for this one

This book’s pacing is CRAZY. There is no downtime and whatever you think is going to happen next, you’re wrong.

Oh god, oh no, my all time favorite trope snuck into this book and surprised me and now I’m getting emotional

I like this a lot, but god the FMC is dumb

You really can’t go wrong with a gothic heroine wandering around a spooky castle in a white nightgown with a candelabra. Good classic imagery. Hits the spot.
