GOT THE ARC OF DAGGERBOUND :) its time to re-read this one first (trying it as an audio even though I reeeally wish these were read by the same narrator as Paladin’s Grace)

Ok these characters are pissing me off… we’re too far along in the book for you all to still be this annoying

I’m sorry, why does this book casually mention that actual Minotaurs exist, only for them to literally never be mentioned again in any of the books set in this world? Was T Kingfisher just feeling extra whimsical the day she wrote this one sentence?

This is undeniably very well written but unfortunately it just isn’t really doing much for me

Liking this a lot but I’m desperate for some worldbuilding and I also feel like the relationships are progressing too quickly and easily

I genuinely cannot tell if this is “good” or if I like it. I’m thinking… not

I’d love to say I completely forgot about the totally non-sexual, conveniently plot-necessitated breath control scene in this book… but I didn’t. I did not forget.
