I’m already over it. I’ll push through if I can.. but I’m only 6% in and it isn’t holding my interest. I don’t know if it’s the waiting and lack of communication— or just the fluff that is inserted to raise the word count. Just get to the point already 😫

I don’t know why I do this to myself lol! I come in knowing this authors style and not liking it, yet she has this way with her stories to keep me reading until the end!

This story so far is so goddamn cringey. Really. The whole basis of the book is they entered a college that has a hazing ritual for freshman to ‘break up couples’ *gag me now*

So far it’s pretty good….but there really is such thing as too much descriptive wording, and I really dislike the need to go over the last paragraph of one POV in the other’s POV. We get it. But I will continue, it’s good other than that!

I really like Rae, not much else. I’m super confused with all the names being tossed around with the club, and what’s going on..it’s so much at once. The scene in the tattoo shop was so gross! And the language..I’m no saint, f*ck is my damn favourite word.. but seriously, there is more swearing than there is plot! All the ‘bitches’ and ‘snatches’ I don’t expect class from them, but it’s so OTT

Honestly.. I don’t know if I can finish this.
I was expecting so much more.

I don’t know if I’m going to finish it.... I don’t know if the last one just left such a terrible taste in my mouth that I can’t continue .. but I am just not getting into it at all anymore.

It also got super confusing right off the bat. And I really dislike how she switches POV in the middle of chapters.. for no reason ARGH
