there is no way everything is supposed to be wrapped up with only 40% left. no, it haven't looked to see if there is supposed to be a 4th book. I like being surprised. this book definitely has a slower pace than the previous 2 but im still enjoying the day-to-day events unfolding/mystery.

we playing the long game out here. by all means its about the journey with this one. there are elements that im highly invested in. just got to be patient lol

I could never hope to be as smart or as tactful as the fmc but she's KILLING IT!
there is an air of mystery that im too dumb to solve but WE'RE GETTING THERE 🤭

my theories are spiraling and I have a feeling i just figured out a possible twist. but won't spoil it. you bet ur sweet butt its IN MY NOTES AHHHHHHHHHH

I have been DEVOURING this book.

there are some puzzle pieces and I have THEORIES but in still missing SO MANY PIECES but I am loving every step of the way. despite the lack of banter, the story itself has me wanting to KNOW how this is all going to piece together!

I keep forgetting this is the same author that wrote Indigo Ridge (I listen to the audiobook). Well let's begin ♥️

this is the type of grovelling the fmc from Psycho Academy from the Cruel Shifterverse deserved 100000% i was so upset on how much those dudes got away with when they thought she was a guy. ANYWAYS ugh this is so fun to read, in like a "I know this plot is going no where" type of way but I am so here for the ride lol

many MANY stories ive read cut off around this point and leave us in a cliffhanger. I am so happy and grateful this author gives us SO MUCH MORE 🤌🤌🤌

damn I am enjoying tf outta this, even if some of it is a bit jarring when things start happening.

I appreciate the subtly of trying to feed us bits and pieces of the world building while being in the middle of a situation. sometimes it feels like im strapped to a rocket and all I can do is hold on and hope I am getting the important detail down lol

so far the action scenes are a bit disjointed when it comes to details. making the running scenes in my head a bit jarring and hard to pin down to what is supposed to be going on at times, it is probably going to be a reoccurring thing. but still sounds interesting.

I almost read this in one night but the 3am alarm told me to go to sleep lol.
One thing im grateful for is ALL of Everly Frost's books have distinctly different types of romances. Not a single one of her romances feel like a rinse wash repeat of each other and that makes me so happy. They all destroy me in a different way each time ❤️
