What bugs me about Ward is that she has to have 20 story lines going at once :-/ early on it was only two and now there are sub stories on top of sub stories and that gets annoying :-/

I'm waiting for the laugh out loud humor :-/ The writing is good but the dad is just f--this and f--that to his young son all the time. A real curmudgeon of a so-called father. It's like there's something wrong with the guy. Hoping it picks up.

I really hope this gets better because it's really not grabbing me at all :( There must be something good about it though if it's been on the best seller lists for so long.

I'm iffy about this and have been since it came out. I've never liked Tohr but I'm itching to read B & Q's story thats out at the end of the month so now probably wouldn't be a good time to start skipping books ;) Just hope it's not a colossal dud like Phury's story was....

So far so good and it's very funny.

This book is baaaaad and I normally really like Sandra Hill. It feels like bad slapstick humor and the writing doesn't flow.

Let's add this to the 76 books I've started and haven't finished (!). Here's hoping it's good --or at least "finishable".

Too much non-romance stuff which is well written but bogs down the story.

Hopefully the romance part gets started soon...

There's still quite a ways to go before the end and I'm starting to wonder what's really left....hmmm

Much better than the other romance novels I'm slogging through.

This is bad :-/ The story is all over the place at times and doesn't really give you a chance to get into the very short tension building before the issue is suddenly resolved and you're on to something else. Plus the author likes to stick in crude sentences here and there that don't match the rest of the writing :-/

Slightly better than your average contemporary/RS but nothing as exciting as others have led on.

Several different characters but it still draws you in as if you're slowly trying to thread a needle.

Amazing writing.

Started out well but I hate that Gerard introduces a second couple and gives them too much attention making you lose interest in the main h/h.

It started out well, then the middle got sort of stale and now I'm waiting for some action.

Verdict is still out on this one.

I hope this is good. I've had it forever on TBR and I need a good read!!
