Yeah, it was a lot of not necessarily relevant flashbacks that kind of took away for me. Maybe if they hadn't been flashbacks, I would have noticed less? Or maybe if she had cut a few? I'm not sure.

I haven't been able to get back into this one NU :-(. I want to finish it but it's just got too much extra info and not enough focus on the romance. The romance is good but it's as if the author wants to tell more of the background historical story and treats the romance part as something secondary at times. I'll finish it though ... Eventually (lol!)
