I'll be interested to hear what you think of this one. It was the most anticipated novel in the series, but she really departed from her norm and anybody's norm for that matter, LOL. It read like a bunch of snippets/flashbacks to me more than a continuous narrative.

That snippet/ flashback stuff is what's bothering me. There's too much of everything except the romance :-/ She sets the scene well but it's the romance I'm interested in otherwise I'd just read a regular novel.
Yeah, it bothered me too because I'm not really interested in vignettes, I wanted to read an action/romance.
