COHO rlly went from zero diversity in Verity and It Ends With Us to "the love interest hires ppl of color at his bar, what an amazing guy!"

It's seriously giving "I have black friends" 💀

can we not glorify the bare minimum please? and actually work on healthy representation in books rather than being lazy with it? 🙄

In the first few chapters, our protagonist has already gone to a bar and complained that they don't sell coffeehouse style drinks with whipped cream and caramel sauce on top. I can already tell where this book is going to go 🙃
