This has mixed reviews which is making me excited to read this??? for some reason???

My bad, I thought this was going to lead more on the humor side of things, but this is more of a suspense than I thought. Still find it interesting, I just need to readjust expectations.

Not gonna lie, this book is kind of stressing me out now. I just need them to finally get a win.

I am just not feeling this one. It is quirky, I like the jokes, the themes are fine too, but just the execution maybe isn't working for me?
idk. 6 hours left so I'm going to push through. I do want to see how this will all end.

Okay finally in the After. I'm still not "into it" but I have no idea why. So far this is setting up to be a good book.

Omg the info dumping just does not stop! Since he is going into the dungeon soon (hopefully) I don’t care about the surrounding town. There is so much to learn, but I’m having a hard time remembering his stats and abilities when it is thrown in with all this world building too.

We are finally out of his apartment though, so hopefully things will get moving soon.

I love Kat, but UGH she is a mess and I wish she would occasionally just listen to people. I hope as the story goes on and she grows that she'll learn to be more patient.

This book should absolutely not be this long-- what do you mean I'm NOT EVEN halfway through?! This isn't even a slow burn. It's "uwu we can't be together because of the rules, but I'm still going to move in and be in a secret relationship with you all. Just remember we can't be together uwu."

This woman is chaos incarnate. She and her cringe are sooo difficult for me to read.
