Real talk? I wasn't expecting to love this as much as I am. It is incredible hard to put down.

I usually really like AG Wilde's books, but ugh idk I'm just not getting into this one.

The creepy factor of this book really cannot be denied.

I seriously appreciate when authors add a "Story Thus Far..." at the beginning of books because I can't remember much of the previous book, but don't want to reread it. I just want to continue the story!

Love that we get to see Vince miss and appreciate Megan. We know from the series, she loves him desperately and thinks of him as a teammate. Learning he feels the same is such a relief! Pllllease let him make it home in this book or the next AP book!!

This is bleak. At least with Megan, she was in charge of her kids and had a homebase. She's also the strategist.

Honestly: this pack is giving icky vibes.
We haven't had them talk to her yet, but amongst themselves they've acted surprised she left, stated that she wanted the bond the night before (when she had been drinking) and one has said they "need to change the narrative so they aren't the villains..."
AND YET, no remorse? "We fucked up" but no "how do we apologize?"
They are SO focused on themselves.

Next library book! Once I read this one, I should be have a little more breathing room to fit in some KU books.
