I’ve read the negative reviews by some but I’m loving this story. Learning of the nature of the Stewards and the truth about James were very unexpected and interesting. I now have two thoughts about who Will might romance and I’m pretty certain the path Violet is going to take. Looking forward to finishing this book and getting on with the next.

End of my Spotify minutes but can’t wait for more!

At first I was unsure about the narrator’s voice but I’ve since gotten a new perspective. Will was “momma’s boy” (per an assailant) who grew up in comfort. His voice could be delicate rather than rough and Christian Colson is perfect for it.

Not yet sure how I feel about this but I think that’s more to do with the narrator. The story itself seems promising. If not, well, at least I’m listening on Spotify.

In a horrible world, the voices of Peter and Cooper shine bright. The differences between them are stark but they mesh so well together. We only get Peter’s POV but it’s interesting the way Cooper reacts to Peter.

Really awesome narration. He’s so spot on with how he approaches Peter.

Already enjoying post-apocalyptic zombie story, something not normally of interest to me. Love Hunter Stanford’s narration.

Tyler is the protagonist and I don’t like him. I like the story but not the character. He’s way more selfish than anyone could imagine. How about this: “Hey, I know you’re dying on Earth but healthy here we should go back.”

No, Tyler. Let him have an adventure for as long as it will last.

Tedious, even just listening. I’ve had to skip ahead to different chapters to avoid certain things. Can’t stand the politics. Hate the into dumps via both speech and thoughts. Is there a problem? Someone already came up with a foolproof solution or will within a page or so. The Valdemarans had the city handed to them by the Talaydras and more. City founded on the back of the future.
