I’m almost half way through this book and almost nothing interesting has happened.

See because I’m supposed to have sympathy for her here but I’m siding with Oz and Themmie.

I think I’m too grumpy and tired to properly appreciate this because I don’t think that was teasing, that was just straight up mean.

Sometimes I’d just like to read a book where I don’t think the female MC is the worst.

So just block him? Super simple and then you won’t get the messages?

Well this is wildly inappropriate for the workplace.

The problem with this story is that it’s all based around the simple fact that Warin couldn’t just ask her on a date like a normal person. There’s no real plot, the characters are boring and nothing is happening.

And now we’re starting off with lies and manipulation. Stellar.

How is it possibly going to take me 2 hours to read the last 50 pages of this book?? Honestly, why is this book so long? Almost nothing has happened.

Being an adult reading this (well rereading), it’s so obvious how Cal manipulates Morgan.

Reading this purely for the nostalgia. And maybe the chance it’ll cure my reading slump.

It’s not that I dislike this it’s that I’m over a hundred pages in and sweet fuck all has happened.

I can just tell I’ve reached the incredibly dumb lying part of this book and I’m going to hate it.

It is in fact possible to overdose on cringy tropes.

This is absolutely better than the previous two books in this series. It’s like it’s started with a bang, got bad and then terrible and then BOOM! Ruby Dixon swoops in for the save.

This is frankly terrible.

I don’t care enough to go back and check but I don’t remember a cat in the first chapter.

Dear god please stop saying “Boyo”, it’s giving me traumatic Angelus flashbacks.

Hex’s inability to curse without manifesting something silly is the single greatest thing about this book.
