Reading this purely for the nostalgia. And maybe the chance it’ll cure my reading slump.

It’s not that I dislike this it’s that I’m over a hundred pages in and sweet fuck all has happened.

I can just tell I’ve reached the incredibly dumb lying part of this book and I’m going to hate it.

Okay but can we please stop talking as if she’s practically dead. I’m older than her and she’s making out like I should be in a retirement home.

It is in fact possible to overdose on cringy tropes.

This is absolutely better than the previous two books in this series. It’s like it’s started with a bang, got bad and then terrible and then BOOM! Ruby Dixon swoops in for the save.

This is frankly terrible.

I don’t care enough to go back and check but I don’t remember a cat in the first chapter.

Hex’s inability to curse without manifesting something silly is the single greatest thing about this book.

There’s part of this book that very soft and soothing but also so much room for things to go wrong.

Was it poor Nell? Or did she at least see something?

I love this series but I am too brain tired to remember the million and one secondary characters.

I hate when a book relies so heavily on no one having any idea what anyone else is doing. Miscommunication is my most hated trope and this book relies so heavily on it.

Struggling with this one. Nothing is happening and I dislike Egwene and all the stupid childish romantic drama.

I know you’re probably supposed to dislike Andy here but honestly, Elodie is annoying me more because what a list of stupid fucking reasons to stay with a man you don’t even like.
