Oh how I hate reading present tense. Im going to power through though, I won’t let the tense alone make me quit a book

How is she managing to touch on every single hobby I’ve been meaning to do. Now it’s roller skating. It’s like this book was written specifically to nudge me to pick up my hobbies again. I’ll be interested to see if there’s a hobby in here she’ll try that isn’t one I’ve been personally putting off
