We are dirtside, on the planet Voc. Young women carve their breath-sibling, a lifelong companion with a pivotal role. How bizarre. And how beautiful!

The first part of this with dystopian stories is very good.

Boring! Telling, no showing. Too much talking about fucking. Very little plot. Very disappointing.

I should probably have another go at The Grapes of Wrath by John Steinbeck…

Pretty creepy-crawley planet.

A bit on the talkative side.

Ok, enough with the setting of the scene. Can we get on with the main plot now?

Chapter 44, the man bumping into Michael in San Francisco, white hair and French accent—is that Julien‘s ghost?

It’s a bit in-your-face with its morality, but it‘s a nice change of pace. I like it. Mellow.

Goodness gracious me, this is about as interesting as watching paint dry.

Finished chapter 5. Boring so far. The James Bond similarities are cute, otherwise meh.

The Harkonnen flagship looks like the Millennium Falcon! Not cool!

I like how the fight scenes are drawn!

This makes no sense to me: the grace period for the house runs out the following day, but Nevada and Rogan go on a holiday on another continent.
