Odd choice to elaborate on stomapod society this late in the book, when we should be all excited about the finale instead.

The first encounter with a real dragon. Ouch!

Nice use of colour schemes and page layout to make Harkonnen and Atreides stand apart.

Finished Part I. A story of manners with dragons. The names of places are fantastic, but this feels very much like Jane Austen‘s Britain, with dragons in the wilds of Eastern Europe and Russia. So far, so cosy!

I love the audiobook narration by Mel Hudson, she does a great job.

Complicated plot with all those different „ages“ and the jumping around between all those timelines. I would be totally lost without that character list. This is a serious trip.

Reached part 9. I just checked the book tags, horror is not among them. Ok then.

The first part of this with dystopian stories is very good.

Boring! Telling, no showing. Too much talking about fucking. Very little plot. Very disappointing.

I should probably have another go at The Grapes of Wrath by John Steinbeck…
