I don’t like the whole Alia needing a mate thing and seeing her being kissed by Hayt gave me a visceral reaction. I understand she has the mind of an adult, but it is still fucked up

I can see why people are saying this is too long. The climax happened and there still was over two hours left in the audiobook (now less) with basically just smut which I haven’t found hot since the beginning and at this point it really has started grinding on my gears because the slightest hint of sexiness and it turns into a damn sex scene like fuck off. I do enjoy the domestic moments between the couple

I think not picking up the book in a couple of days made me more disconnected from the characters because even though before I didn’t care about spicy scenes especially from the girl pov because of the narrator, now I really don’t care 🤷‍♀️

It’s so interestinggg love being back in this world

It’s interesting and I enjoy the writing and the characters, but it hasn’t made me obsessed with it and I don’t feel like picking it up. I will soft DNF it and pick it up another time. I feel the historical aspect,even if it’s set in spring, is giving autumn/winter vibes with the atmosphere and the grey feeling of the city.
