I think not picking up the book in a couple of days made me more disconnected from the characters because even though before I didn’t care about spicy scenes especially from the girl pov because of the narrator, now I really don’t care 🤷♀️

I can see why people are saying this is too long. The climax happened and there still was over two hours left in the audiobook (now less) with basically just smut which I haven’t found hot since the beginning and at this point it really has started grinding on my gears because the slightest hint of sexiness and it turns into a damn sex scene like fuck off. I do enjoy the domestic moments between the couple
