For the first time in the book, we see hints of purely romantic behaviors between men (rather than the sexual most of the book has been able to highlight) but she’s breezing right by them

Trying so hard not to be a mythology snob or an interesting characters snob

Form criticism is so interesting because a key component (at least in Campbell’s view) is the need for early scripture to accommodate oral storytelling. Some sections are relatively bare outlines of story which allow the teller to expand on certain moments as they want. Turns out a lot of what we did at LEGOland has a lot in common with the way traditional stories could be passed down
