they’re saying motherfucker way more than i remember…. ugh idk how imma do this with 9th graders my stomach is in knots but maybe?? idk they want us to teach to kill a mockingbird and it says the n word twice every page or something but with this i just am worried about all the f words…. my complaint is that it doesn’t add much to the story either other than this characters immense frustration

slowly rereading this to create a lesson plan! yes I will teach this book to my students and enjoy it even if it says goddamn and motherfucker. am I going to tell my coworkers? fuckkkk noooo! so mindya! but we gonna see how that goes but truly we can spend a week reading this short ass book and I think my students will like it a lot more than our other dystopian options. anyway. teach books you love if you can amen
