i know its a quick update after the last one but i have to say i am SO disappointed abt the dragons rn. grrrrrrr

was excited for the world building and i am having fun,,, but i’m kind of over the “wow every new society we encounter has these crazy and outlandish trials we have to pass!!” it comes off a little weird. i understand working with unfamiliar customs and unfamiliar gods,, navarre has something similar too…. but dhhhhdhdhshs idk maybe i’m just trying to find things to be annoyed about

i almost don’t care about xaden or violet at all at this point— i only care about the dragons, a few side characters, and (hopefully) more world building

why is violet’s inner monologue so cringe… its giving quirky. its giving bad fanfic. i’m very invested don’t get me wrong but i’m also kind of bored
