I think it's so far really well written and informative, unfortunately I have to read this for class so some of the writings are falling flat. Especially the way I have basically already taken a class on this book (PLAS 215?). I do have multiple questions however when it talks about not having any flowery words, but words that even a new scientist can understand, but what about an emerging scientist?

Just learned how to peer review😐 the fuck you mean scientists are fighting over whether or not reviews should be anonymous? Im pretty sure they should be anonymous to reduce bias and so that the author actually listens to the peer review made.

One thing I have taken away from this is that the abstracts however short they are, seem to require just as much if not more thought than the rest of the paper.A new perspective brought about would be that graphical abstracts are on the rise. Which makes sense because some people are visual learners, but having that visual aspect along with a textual aspect is really helpful. However if I saw one I would be lost.
