Chapter 18 started with an info dump to end all info dumps and ended with live dissections, which ruined my lunch 🤢. This book is just the gift that keeps on giving.

Reading Manacled at the same time as this was such a huge mistake, my progress has slowed to a glacial creep

I really don’t like the trillion POV narrative style; I get that it’s like assembling a thousand-piece puzzle to give us the complete picture, but wow I do not give a damn about any of these people.

This book is going to take me a decade. One of those scifi books that feels the need to fill you in on every detail in existence and has an absurdly large cast of characters to keep track of.
