This is starting off very reminiscent of Heart of the Sea, with the man constructing a building and a woman back in her home town, and I really hope it doesn't disappoint me like that one did.

Still having trouble telling characters apart but I've decided that Ryder and the Montgomery mom are both frustrating enough to want less of them both.

Sometimes I have trouble telling who is talking when it's a group of more than 3 characters. I don't feel most of them have distinct voices.
