Thankfully this picks about 1-1.5 months after the end of Bless Your Heart. Roger Taylor is newly appointed Sheriff & Lenore now runs the Evans Funeral Parlor. Something starts killing people and 1 cow (so far) but doesn't fit the Strigoi MO. Roger goes with ongoing rabid wolf hybrid theory & now an "expert" from the university has been called in to assist in confirming it's actually an animal not a serial killer.

Thank you Netgalley! I really enjoyed Bless Your Heart by this author and am so excited to pick up this continuation of the Evans Family story. So far it's been a fun read and has picked up almost where BYH ended give or take a month. Goings on are still weirdly popping up in the most unlikely of creatures. We've got a good mix of familiar characters & new faces in small town South Texas. Now, plot twist. Yay!
