I’m late to lunch because I can’t stop reading. 😔

Vasya heard the shriek of the dying animal. It matched her mood.

This book is so unexpectedly funny at times

“Pyotr seized his wife in a very businesslike choke”

He’s so funny actually

He’s definitely Frollo

I can’t decide if Konstantin is becoming creeper over Vasya, or if he’s obsessed with her as his enemy/final battle.

But he’s giving major Frollo vibes

like fire, Hellfire
