insane that i still haven’t finished watching and reading this. anyways i liked ‘knocked up’ way more than i thought i was going to. and i personally prefer ‘no strings attached’ to ‘friends with benefits’

i happened to rewatch my big fat greek wedding like two weeks ago so i don’t feel the need to watch it AGAIN. probably doesn’t crack my top fifteen of all time favorites, but does have maybe the best proposal scene of any movie

recommitting to this for 2025!!
my best friend’s wedding is a movie about insane people and for most of my life i’d never seen it start to finish because the secondhand embarrassment was too much!

but i actually like the subversion of the romcom that happens here even if it makes me incredibly uncomfortable. cameron diaz’s character deserves a nobel peace prize

I didn’t watch a movie for like four months whoops! Anyways. Waiting To Exhale! I liked it a lot, but I don’t think it’s a romcom? Meslow talked about how it seemed like Sex and The City took a lot from the book/movie and I agree there are huge similarities. Sex and The City is not a romcom! It’s just about women and their relationships and there IS a difference! Still a good watch though with a stacked cast

Four Weddings and a Funeral is a forever favorite. Hadn’t seen it in a few years and love to be reminded that Richard Curtis is my exact type of sentimental- whether that’s good or bad is really up for debate.

Pretty Woman!!! Continuing with watching each movie before I read the chapter, regardless of if I’ve seen it before or not, Julia Roberts remains the most charismatic woman in the world
