The impact of picture books on children is clearly very big, as is any children's media. It would be so cool to be a part of that. Reading included transcripts of interviews with children talking about the books they're reading is very fun.

"Genuine pictorial voice emerges through a lengthy dialogue with the real world." This book is definitely giving me some good pointers, I feel like I've been a bit stagnant lately with my style and direction in art, but instead of focusing too much on the style and direction I just have to observe and depict the things around me as I am seeing them, and through that style and voice will naturally come.
