Finished reading, 4 stars. While Gail Carriger's highly entertaining, LOL writing has returned (#1 was a total fail for me and a big disappointment). I am waiting to review this after rereading this book 2, then 3 & 4. There are several unexplained major plot issues that take me out of the story (who are the Picklemen? who are the Flymen? what do they want? who are they aligned with? are they human?).
