So good. Getting close to the end but Spotify cut me off because I’d reached my allotted time limits for the month 🙄

So good. I love the Norse and west African mythology and how the author has intertwined the two, building a richly colorful world.

Really enjoying this so far. Listening on audiobook. Intriguing characters. A smart quick witted African woman ends up in a Viking village after loss and capture. Her confidence and strength are empowering as she yearns to prove herself and become a shield maiden. Still too early in the book to see where the story is going, but I’m invested.
