shockingly appropriate that I was reading this on valentine’s day. very very feminist literature and for that alone (even if I hated this book, which I don’t) I’m gonna read the shit out of it to spite the man who implied literature written for women was ‘below him’ or lacking any depth/nuance and he simply didn’t care about understanding what it is trying to say. fuck you
