This book went from being a solid 4, to barely a 2.5. Jared has been WAY too accommodating to Matt, and Jared's family (that I liked) all were TOO READY to tell Jared he should apologize to Matt for being hesitant once Matt went from 0-100 about them being together. Normally, I would have rage quit any other book with all these characteristics, but I've been DNFing so many things that I'm trying to stick it out.

No, Lizzy, Mom, and Brian - Jared does not, in fact, owe Matt an apology. Jared has been bending over backwards to go at Matt's pace this whole time, including standing by while he fucked someone else. As soon as Jared asks for consideration for himself, suddenly, no one has ever heard such a thing.
