Finished ch. 9 "Dumplings, Bakes, Cakes, and Puddings" (sort of). Again skimmed through the recipes parts. There's 21 recipes in this chapter, with only 5 photos in total, but 2 of them are showing the same dish.

Finished ch. 8 "“Pies, Crisps, Cobblers, Buckles, and Betties" (sort of). Again skimmed through the recipes parts. There's 17 recipes in this chapter, with only 6 photos in total, but 2 of them are showing the same dish.

Finished ch. 7 "Pancakes, Donuts, Biscuits, and Breads" (sort of). Again skimmed through the recipes parts. There's 14 recipes in this chapter, with only 6 photos in total, but 2 of them are showing the same dish.

Finished ch. 6 "Poultry, Meat, and Fish Entrees" (sort of). Again skimmed through the recipes parts. There's 13 recipes in this chapter, with only 4 photos in total, but in reality sort of going backwards though =/ because it's 2 photos for 2 dish, so there's actually 11 unknown looking dish from this section.

Finished ch. 5 "Vegetable Entrees, Sides, and Salads" (sort of). Again skimmed through the recipes parts. Not sure if this counts as an improvement, there's 15 recipes in this chapter, with only 4 photos in total! The ratio is better than 1/6 but still...

Finished ch. 4 "Soups and Starters" (sort of). I skimmed through the recipes part as I have no need of them at the moment, but I found the supposedly first flaw of this book... There's 6 recipes in this chapter, however, there's only a single photo! Sometimes, even without photos of the preparation steps would bug me, let alone not having to know what the end product looks like!

Finished ch. 3 "Cooking Tips and Pantry Notes".

Finished ch. 2 "Apple Varieties: A Primer ". Oh I LOVE the entire chapter and how it's done! This is something I'll def. revisit simply because there's no way to soak in the knowledge in a short time! So many different kinds of apple! lol

Finished ch. 1 "Introduction". I'm loving this book so far! It's very educational and you get to learn the history of apples and, coming up next, breakdown of different kinds of apples!
