Good book overall. Ch 17 "Hydrodynamic Quantization" feels out of place, written with complexity that needs more explanation/details. But I look forward to how all this data eventually pulls together.

As you increase the vibrational amplitude (of a bouncing droplet on a liquid surface), the droplet starts moving in a straight line! Since the droplet no long hits directly in the center of the wave field it created, but ever so slightly to the side. This tiny discrepancy is enough to push the droplet off in one direction. This gets repeated until the droplet picks up speed in a single direction. This is a 'walker'.

Focus here will be using Pilot-wave theory. Started 1927; then David Bohm in 1952; then John Bell; Now HQA: Hydrodynamic Quantum Analogues. I'm intrigued! Great bibliography to explore.

The scrawl on the desk near a little arrow pointing to nothing said: Heisenberg may have been here.
